Disability community resource center

The Disability Community Resource Center (formerly The Westside Center for Independent Living) is a non-residential center dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for people with all types of disabilities. The goal of DCRC services is the elimination of economic, social, attitudinal and environmental barriers. It has been advocating for and serving people with disabilities throughout West Los Angeles and the South Bay area for over 40 years. iSpace has been a supporter of the DCRC, for close to 20 years and is proud of the work that DCRC does to assist it’s service community in finding employment. https://www.dcrc.co/

STEM Advantage

STEM Advantage www.stemadvantage.org mentors, prepares and inspires young women and underserved communities to pursue STEM careers through paid internships, mentorships and scholarships. This 360-degree approach is designed to open doors and provide the support needed to keep promising women and minorities in a STEM program, including the skills and work experience that will assist them in landing their first position after graduation, plus graduate with less student debt. iSpace has been a supporter of StemAdvantage since it was founded. Carole Schlocker, sits on the Board of Directors and we have supported the Stem Advantage Scholars who work at Sony Pictures
