ISPACE, INC. (El Segundo, CA) needs Senior Technical Architect
- System Design and Technical Ownership (25%): Design and implement backend services, APIs, and data pipelines using domain-driven design and asynchronous communication principles. Define data models, service interaction contracts, and documentation to ensure system extensibility, integration consistency, and observability. Collaborate with engineering teams to validate design patterns and review performance-critical components for scalability and reliability.
- Infrastructure Engineering and Application Modernization (25%): Contribute to infrastructure design for automated, environment-agnostic deployments using containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Partner with DevOps and platform teams to implement infrastructure-as-code, policy-driven deployment frameworks, and monitoring standards. Support modernization efforts by refactoring legacy components into secure, cloud-native services with minimal operational disruption.
- Solution Design and Platform Development (20%): Develop scalable, distributed solutions supporting workflow automation, AI-powered features, and data-intensive applications. Translate business and functional requirements into modular, maintainable code and reusable system components. Evaluate emerging technologies and development patterns to inform platform evolution and solution architecture.
- AI/ML Feature Implementation (15%): Implement features that embed large language models and semantic intelligence into product workflows for personalization and summarization. Define engineering strategies for prompt orchestration, vector-based search, and model versioning. Ensure responsible AI integration through service monitoring, output validation, and alignment with governance standards.
- Technical Leadership and Best Practices (15%): Promote engineering best practices in modular system design, secure coding, API versioning, and documentation. Mentor peers through code reviews, architectural guidance, and knowledge sharing across teams. Contribute to high-impact feature development during early-stage prototyping and complex integration efforts across backend and frontend layers.
Travel/relocation to various unanticipated client sites within the United States only is required. Exact client site location cannot be predicted as it may vary/change depending on project availability
Education: Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or related field
Experience: 5 years of experience as Technical Architect, Software Engineer or related.
Special Requirements: Teradata-14 Certified Professional • Microsoft Certified Professional - HTML5-JS-CSS3 • Kofax Technical Solutions Specialist • Six-Sigma Green Belt Certified.
Salary: $184,558.00 per year
