iSpace, Inc. (El Segundo, CA) needs Head of Data Engineering
Work closely with leadership and be directly responsible for design, management and development of the data pipeline and other software components to build robust, scalable, and highly available distributed data platform in a cloud based environment. Lead and manage global team engineers in designing innovative data technology solutions that meets the business needs while ensuring sustainability, scalability, performance and security. Use expertise to identify opportunities to leverage data and provide guidance to colleagues related to capture, process, analyze and visualize the information. Scale with the business by designing systems focusing on possible future business needs and changes. Understand organization goals, focus on big picture while delivering data platform components iteratively in line with it. Help Migrate/Modernize the current data stack by understanding present requirements, assessing new tools/frameworks and how they would fit the need and lead migration effort from start to end. Maintain the technical infrastructure, its configuration, performance, storage requirements and implement archival and disaster recovery strategies. Follow data engineering standard methodologies, implement process improvements and document standards within the team and across various teams in the organization. Communicate with Partners and immediate leadership to explain designs and/or technical challenges and work through design feedback.
Travel/relocation to various unanticipated client sites within the United States only is required. Exact client site location cannot be predicted as it may vary/change depending on project availability
Education : Must have a Master’s Degree in Computer Information Systems or related.
Experience : 2 years of experience as Vice President of Data Engineering, Director or related.
Special Requirements : 1 year experience in Snowflake, Python, SQL, Airflow, Redshift, GitHub, Tableu etc. in AWS cloud environment.

iSpace, Inc. (El Segundo, CA) needs IT Project Manager:
Manages assigned IT projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope of project. Prepare the Project estimates and Project Management Plan that consists of Project Scope/Objectives, Infrastructure/Staffing requirements, Commitments made to Customer, Customer Responsibilities, Project Schedule, Work Break down structure (WBS) and technologies, based on the information available in the PIN and Contract/SOW. Conduct project kick-off meeting with relevant stake holders. Coordinate with all the project stakeholders for the successful completion of the project. Schedule and facilitates the Project meetings with the required Project stakeholders throughout the execution of the project. Helps the Customer in identifying their needs and priorities by understanding their business. Research and evaluate hardware and software technology options and weigh the cost/benefit analysis when making large purchases on behalf of the company. Communicate with IT Infra for infrastructure requirement and Project folder creation and its access to the team in configuration management tool. Identify the resource requirement at the start of the Project and during the execution of the project for supplemental resources. Hires and trains members of the technical staff. Assign roles and responsibilities to the Project personnel. Perform risk assessments and prepare Risk Management Plan and revise this during the review of Project risks. Monitor and tracks the project progress by conducting periodic project progress reviews w.r.t the Project schedule and deliverables. Conducts regular Team Review meetings to Review the status of tasks assigned to team members, to know the challenges and identify the causes for the delays (if any) and to identify the Issues that need management attention. Provides technical guidance to the team members of the Project and helps the team when required. Prepares a weekly project status report on the status of the project and submits to management and client. Review and revise the Project Estimates and Project Management Plan, Project Schedules, Risk Management Plan when there are major changes to requirements or major deviation in effort or schedule. Timely updates to Project Management Plan, Project Scheduled tasks/Work Tracker and Project data collection worksheet (Schedule, effort and defects) as project progresses. Reviews the progress of project with the customer as per contractual terms and commitments made to the customer and reviews Issues that need to be resolved by the customer Planning and implementing the necessary steps in case Project is not meeting the Target value of Quality Objectives Track and Review the Budget to make sure that Project is in adherence to planned budget. Ensures quality of deliverables and submits project deliverables to the client. Conducts Project Closure Meeting with Client and shares MOM. Conducts project closure meeting with Project Team, SQA, HR and IT Infrastructure Support Team. Prepares the Project Case Study and works on Project Cost Vs Profit Validation. Monitor and document the Performance of the Project team members and provide the feedback to the team after Project Closure or during Performance Appraisals. Travel/relocation required as jobs will be performed at unanticipated locations throughout the United States.
This position requires that the applicant possess an equivalent of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related, and 5 years of experience as an IT Project Manager, Project Manager, Software Engineer, Software Developer or related. Mail resume to Attn
